Occasionally we'll have an author who visits our church to speak in a separate meeting or participate in our services.  Generally, they bring books along and hope to have a space to chat with people, sell the book, etc.

I haven't run one of these personally although I set one up that I was unable to attend.  Anyone have any advice on how to handle these things?
